February/March Newsletter

Greetings Readers,

NH Lions Mid Winter convention
was quite exciting. We had our first
Leo’s training thanks to Immediate
Past President Linda Ribolini. We
had representation from 5 NH Leo
Clubs. The session began at 9:30 AM,
broke for lunch at noon, they joined
LYS for our annual meeting and
went back to finish up. Thanks Linda,
Bonnie, Bruce, Linda and all the other
Trainers that participated. It all made
for a great event.

At Mid Winter, the Multiple District
and LYS were proud to meet and recognize
this year’s Peace Poster winner submitted
to the competition by the Chesterfield
Lions Club. Grace Pepin very talented
young lady who accepted a check from
the Multiple District and LYS and then
went on to explain what her poster meant.
Congratulations to  Grace  for an
awesome submission!

At Mid Winter we also met International
Director Beverly Stebbins from Texas
who sat in on our meeting and spoke
to the Leos and Leo advisors in the
room.

Annual elections saw many of our
current Board Members re elected.
Congrats and thanks for staying with
us to: Janet Benson, PDG Nancy Nye,
past MCC Charlene Provencal and Sandra
Hurd.  I announced that we were looking
for  one more Director from District H and
Dee Dee Latulippe expressed an interest
to come on board. Thanks Dee Dee, we
look forward to your tenure and to working
with you. Also good luck on your candidacy
as Vice District Governor!

Our LYS meetings starting in February will
begin at 6:30 PM as opposed to the previous
7 PM. We have many Board Members that
Have quite a distance to travel and this
Should assure at 9 PM or earlier end to
our meetings.

Yours in Lionism,
Dick St.Jean
